Simple Ammonite Necklace
This finely handcrafted rosewood necklace is a simple piece with subtle relief which emphasizes the spectacular ammonite fossil, one of the most totemic ancestors of all animal life and biodiversity. Ammonites first appear in the fossil record 240 million years ago. The ammonite is composed of a golden spiral within a ram-horn-shaped shell. It is an exquisite fossil that represents the pattern of growth, of energy and the movement of sacred geometry.
The necklace is carved in a beautiful arrangement accompanied by three circles to the side, and the ammonite is mounted with strong copper pins.
